Perttu Pölönen
Who is Perttu?
Perttu Pölönen has studied future technologies at Singularity University at NASA Ames, co-founded an edtech company in Myanmar and won Europe's largest science competition for youth with his patented MusiClock invention. In 2018, MIT Technology Review named him one of Europe's 35 Innovators Under 35. Perttu has written three books and delivered over 1200 keynotes in more than 20 countries.
INVENTOR
Perttu is an innovator at heart. At 15 he turned his frustration, music theory, into a simple teaching tool called MusiClock (Fin. Sävelkello). The invention was patented and recognized internationally, followed even by an invitation to the Nobel Prize Festivities.
AUTHOR
Perttu’s book Future Skills explores the essential skills for thriving in an uncertain future. Blending practical insights with a personal perspective, he examines how we adapt to a rapidly changing technological world. Future Skills has been translated into seven languages.

FUTURIST
Perttu received a full scholarship to study at Singularity University, a think tank located at NASA Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley, CA. He has a profound knowledge of the future megatrends, disruption, emerging technologies and exponential mindset.
COMPOSER
Perttu is a classically trained composer, graduated from Sibelius Academy. His compositions have been performed in Finland, Hungary, Japan and the USA. Perttu plays the cello and the piano – also in seminars and events!

AI & Human Edge
