
Perttu Pölönen is a futurist, inventor and author. He has studied future technologies at Singularity University, based at NASA Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley, co-founded an edtech company in Myanmar and won EU’s biggest science competition for youth with his patented MusiClock invention. In 2018 MIT Tech Review honored him among the 35 Innovators Under 35 in Europe. Perttu has written three books and given over 1000 keynotes in more than 20 countries about the future.





INVENTOR
Perttu is an innovator at heart. At 15 he turned his frustration, music theory, into a simple teaching tool called MusiClock (Fin. Sävelkello). The invention was patented and recognized internationally, followed even by an invitation to the Nobel Prize Festivities.

Perttu’s book Future Skills explores the essential skills for thriving in an uncertain future. Blending practical insights with a personal perspective, he examines how we adapt to a rapidly changing technological world. Future Skills has been translated into seven languages.
